CPEPE/TUNGWELL provides Shunt Reactor, a passive power system device used to absorb reactive power and control voltage levels in transmission and distribution networks. Unlike transformers which transfer power, shunt reactors are primarily used to stabilize grid voltage by compensating for the capacitive effect of long transmission lines.

Our shunt reactors are oil-immersed and designed for 35kV to 220kV systems, offering high reliability, low losses, and long service life. They can be customized with ONAN or ONAF cooling, and meet international standards such as IEC 60076-6.
